Teachers’ Training on Professional and Teaching Ethics with Proper Understanding
DIU arranged a day-long training for newly recruited faculty members of the University on Professional and Teaching Ethics with Proper Understanding. The training covered the importance and implications of professional & teaching ethics for new teachers along with DIU's IT facilities, email etiquette, quality education, role in ensuring educational quality, exam rules, AI, etc. Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman urged educators to uphold values for a rewarding journey and he conducted the oath taking ceremony of the newly recruited faculty members.
Training session on Excellence in Educational Leadership
In continuation of DIU’s continuous efforts, Human Resource Development Institute of DIU arranged a faculty training session on Excellence in Educational Leadership. In this session, the visiting Professor Dr. Franco Gandolfi discussed the importance of educational leadership in the 21st century, especially in the post-pandemic era. He enlightened the room full of faculties about the 11 driving forces of the current situation in education. This highly interactive session brought out many issues about teaching pedagogy.
Teachers’ Training on Educational Values
Mr. Ejaj-ur Rahaman Shajal and Mr. Amir Hamza, HRDI-DIU conducted a daylong training session at Glenrich International School on educational values. Together with the teachers, the team started a journey to reshaping the classrooms. Our mission of the training was to create a nurturing environment where both students and teachers thrive based on the educational values like a culture of mutual respect, academic excellence, emotional intelligence, empathy, relationship management, happiness & peace and a growth mindset .
Training on “Art of Living Leadership Bootcamp”
In the Art of Living Leadership Bootcamp training, DIU always encourage thinking outside of the box. The participants learnt the way of unleashing creativity within constraints at the Art of Living Leadership Bootcamp. Surrounded by the 'box' of a paper wheel, they raced towards success without tearing it or stepping out. A powerful metaphor for navigating life's rules and adversities while showcasing leadership, communication, dedication, and creativity.
Teachers’ Training on The Learning Circle
The Learning Circle brought together a community of dedicated teachers aiming to enhance teaching practices. Discussions revolved around active student engagement, dynamic teaching approaches, and fostering a supportive learning environment with educational values. The session reaffirms the commitment of DIU teachers to provide a transformative learning experience.

Internal Team Training at CDC
An enriching session on "Communicative English at Workplace" was conducted by Brigadier General K.M. Aamirul Islam, Director of Daffodil Institute of Language (DIL) for the CDC team of DIU. The internal team of Career Development Center geared up for an insightful training session, aimed at enhancing communication skills crucial for professional success.
Session on Creating a Supportive Campus Community
To observe World Suicide Prevention Day 2023, Psychological Service Unit from Office of the Director of Students' Affairs organized an impactful awareness session titled "Creating a Supportive Campus Community". Prof. Dr. Syed Mizanur Rahman, Director of Students' Affairs, two Psychologists of DIU: Ms. Bilkis Khanam and Mr. Rakibul Hasan shared their valuable insights on how a supportive campus community plays a crucial role in promoting mental well-being and preventing suicide.
