1.Introduction
Daffodil International University (DIU) values its role within the community and aims to foster positive societal impact through collaborative efforts. Recognizing the significance of strong local partnerships for sustainable development, DIU seeks to engage with various stakeholders. This policy formalizes DIU’s approach to identifying and collaborating with local stakeholders.
2. Objectives
This policy outlines the approach to identifying, engaging, and collaborating with external stakeholders, including local residents, government agencies, civil society representatives, businesses, educational institutions, and community organizations.
3. Identification of Stakeholders
DIU will proactively identify stakeholders whose interests and goals align with the university’s mission and values. Potential stakeholders include organizations focused on education, sustainable development, health, technology, entrepreneurship, social welfare, and other areas essential to community well-being and economic growth. Civil society representatives, such as refugee resettlement agencies, will be actively considered as key stakeholders.
4. Engagement and Collaboration
DIU will establish ongoing dialogues and partnerships with these stakeholders through regular meetings, joint initiatives, community outreach programs, and collaborative projects. Engagement strategies will focus on mutual benefit, knowledge sharing, and addressing community needs. DIU is dedicated to creating mechanisms that allow local residents, local government representatives, and civil society groups to meaningfully participate in various events and brainstorming sessions that will help the university to make effective decision, ensuring that stakeholder voices help shape university policies and community-impact initiatives.
5. Monitoring and Evaluation
A structured framework will monitor and evaluate the outcomes of stakeholder engagement to ensure effectiveness and sustainable impact. DIU will gather feedback from stakeholders to continuously improve partnerships, ensuring positive contributions to the local community and alignment with DIU’s mission.
